Patch Weekend Weather: It's October? Really?

There will be sunny skies and high temperatures Saturday and Sunday.

There's those weekends every fall where it's warm and beautiful and everyone feels pressure to take advantage, whether they're tossing around the pigskin, putting up Halloween decorations, or jumping into piles of crisp leaves.

This is one of those weekends. 

Take advantage, Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills. As we approach mid-October, you never know when that Chicago freeze is coming.

Saturday:

Skies will be sunny to start the weekend during the day Saturday and temperatures will cross from "warm" to "hot." The high for the day is 81 degrees. Breezes during the day will mostly stay between 5 and 15 mph but gusts will get as high as 20 mph.

Saturday night, skies will remain mostly clear, the low temperature will drop to 57 degrees, and the breeze will calm down to 5 mph.

Sunday: 

Sunday will be just like Saturday sans the wind. Skies will be sunny and the high temperature will hit 80.

Sunday night, again, mostly clear skies and a low of 56.
