Monday's Morning Report: Cool, Windy Weather Expected

1. Skies will be partly sunny Monday with a high temperature near 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts will reach 25 mph. Monday night, the temperature will fall to 40 degrees and there's a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Strong winds will stick around through the night.

2. The DuPage Amateur Radio Club is holding its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday night at in Clarendon Hills. "The meetings usually consist of introductions, club business, door prize drawings, and a technical program," the event's Patch listing reads. "No RSVPs are necessary; come as you are and bring a friend." . 

3. All scheduled meetings this week have been cancelled. Those meetings include Monday's Zoning and Public Safety (ZPS) Committee meeting, Tuesday's Economic Development Commission meeting, Wednesday's Plan Commission meeting, and Thursday's Finance Commission meeting.
