Monday's Morning Report: President's Day Ski Trip Set

1. The Community House is putting on its annual President's Day ski trip Monday for kids age 11-15 at Alpine Valley Ski Resort in Wisconsin. Those who pre-registered will leave on a bus at 8 a.m. and returning around 7 p.m. See the event's Patch listing here for more info.
2. Skies will be mostly sunny Monday and the high will reach 44 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Monday night, there's a 60 percent chance of snow as clouds move in and the low dips to 34 degrees.
3. The Village of Hinsdale Parks and Recreation Commission meeting that was scheduled for Monday is canceled and the regularly scheduled Clarendon Hills Village Board meeting is pushed to Tuesday this week due to the holiday.
