Sunny and Warm Day Ahead: Monday's Morning Report

A Clarendon Hills Village Board meeting featuring an agenda item that will cut the DARE program from local public schools is also among the things you should know about for Aug. 6.

1. Skies will be sunny Monday and the high temperature will reach 85 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Monday night, skies will remain mostly clear and the low will fall to 65 degrees.

2. The Village Board meets Monday night at Village Hall. The meeting gets going at 7 p.m. and its full agenda can be found here on the village's website.  

3. Among the items on that Clarendon Hills agenda is a discussion on the replacement of the DARE program in the village's District 181 schools with an updated SELAS program. Get more info on that item here and tell us what you think in the comments.
