Memorial Day Weekend Weather: Hot, Hot, Hot!

Saturday's high will reach the mid 80s, while Sunday and Monday will both see temps in the 90s.

Summer may officially start in June, but Memorial Day always feels like the season's unofficial start. This year, especially. It's going to be about as summery as summer gets, with temperatures approaching triple-digits.

Saturday

There's a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday morning before 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy skies are expected during the day and the high will reach 86 degrees. Luckily, there'll be a breeze. An east-southeast wind will blow between 10 and 15 mph.

Saturday night, skies will be partly cloudy and the low will fall to 71 degrees. That 10 mph south-southeast wind will stick around.

Sunday

It's gonna be a hot one Sunday! The skies will be nothing but sun during the day and the high will reach 97 degrees. Again, a breeze will help ease the pain. A south-southwest wind will blow between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday night, skies will remain mostly clear and the low will fall to 74 degrees. 

Monday

Skies will be mostly sunny on Memorial Day and the high will reach 92 degrees. There's a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.

Monday night that chance for precipitation goes up to 50 percent as mostly cloudy skies and a low of 65 are expected.
