Memorial Day Weekend Off to Sunny Start: Friday's Morning Report
The long holiday weekend is here; get it off to a great start with these important items from Patch.
1. Skies will be sunny Friday and the high will reach 77 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Friday night, there's a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy skies and a low of 61 are expected.
2. Memorial Day weekend means community pools are open! The Lions Park Pool in Clarendon Hills is hosting its opening day on Saturday and its new equipment will make its debut. "For the 2012 season, a new water play feature with several spray stations is being added to the shallow end of the pool!" reads. "This addition, promises to be a popular feature for younger children visiting the pool."
