Garfield Railroad Crossing Closed for Repairs
The repairs will take one week; expect delays.
The Garfield Street BNSF crossing near downtown Hinsdale closed for repairs Friday and will not be re-opened until next Friday, Sept. 23, according to the Village of Hinsdale website.
Delays are expected throughout the week in the vicinity of the crossing.
"Plan ahead for your travels to use alternative roadways if possible," the site reads.

After the Garfield repairs finish up, the Washington Street grade crossing will be closed for its own seven-day period from Sept. 23 to Sept. 30.
