Friday's Morning Report: Mid-50s Temps, Slight Chance of Rain

Get your weekend started right with these important items from Patch.

1. Skies will be partly sunny during the day Friday and the high temperature will reach 56 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There's a 20 percent chance of rain. Friday night, the chance for rain sticks around, skies will be mostly cloudy and the low temperature will drop to 34 degrees.

2. The 's "Scales & Tales Animal Show" is Friday at 6 p.m. Beth Wagner brings wild and exotic animals for the traditional show, which is free for members and $10 for non-members. (.) 

3. There are a couple of Halloween events happening around town Friday. in Hinsdale is holding its "Click or Treat" event, when parents can bring by their costumed kids for a free mini shoot from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (.) The Hinsdale Youth Center is holding its seventh- and eighth-grade Halloween party Friday night at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 in advance and $7 at the door. (.)
