Friday's Morning Report: Rain Expected During Day

The week is just about over; start your weekend right with these important items from Patch.

1. There's a 90 percent chance of showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, before 1 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will reach 59 degrees. Friday night, skies will remain cloudy and temperatures will fall into the high 30s.

2. Wellness House is hosting its weekly Nia class Friday at 10:30 a.m. "Nia is a mind-body movement practice for all ages and levels of fitness, using choreography to soul-stirring music," the event's Patch listing reads. "Inspired by elements from the martial, dance and healing arts, you’ll discover your own joyful journey with Nia, and positively shape the way your feel, look, and live." .

3. Looking ahead, the is hosting its Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Ave. "Boys and girls ages 4 and under are invited to hunt for colorful plastic eggs at 11 a.m., while children ages 5-9 will join in the fun at 11:30 a.m.," the event's Patch listing reads. "Many of these bright eggs have special surprises hidden inside." .
