Five Things You Should Know for Wednesday, August 3

Patch has a few items to get you over the hump this week.

1. The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures to come back to normal Wednesday after a heat advisory Tuesday. Skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 84 and a 10 to 15 mph breeze. Wednesday night, skies will be mostly clear and the low will be around 70 degrees. 

2. BAM Theatre will put on a performance of "Deathtrap" Wednesday night in the large conference room of the Hinsdale Public Library at 6 p.m. See this TribLocal event listing for more information.

3. Wednesday is the DuPage Back to School Fair at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. Free school supplies and vision/dental screenings will be available.

5. The final Dancin' in the Street concert is Wednesday night in downtown Clarendon Hills. It will be a make up of the first event, which was cancelled June 22 after the severe July 21 storm. The Chicago Catz will supply the music and Absolutely Delicious will supply the eats.
