Five Things You Should Know for Monday, June 6

Patch has a few things for you to keep in mind as you get your week started.

1. The Hinsdale Township High School District 86 Board of Education has a Committee of the Whole meeting Monday night. It begins at 7:30 p.m. at Hinsdale South.

2. The Clarendon Hills Village Board also meets Monday at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.

3. Weather.com is predicting a high temperature of 88 degrees Monday. There's a 30 percent chance of precipitation during the day, but by 3 p.m., skies should be clear.

5. Give a minute to any World War II vets you might know. Monday is the 67th anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France on June 6, 1944.
