Five Things You Should Know for Monday, July 11

Get the week started with a few must-know items for the Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills area.

1. According to the National Weather Service, the weekday good-weather streak may be in danger. There's a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Skies will be mostly cloudy and temps will reach 92 degrees. The heat index, however, may make it feel as hot as 102 degrees. Overnight, expect partly cloudy skies and a low temp of 74 degrees.

2. The Community Consolidated School District 181 Board of Education meets for a regular business meeting Monday night at Elm School. See the agenda here 

3. The Village of Hinsdale Environment and Public Services Committee meets Monday night at 5 p.m. at Memorial Hall. See the agenda here.
