Five Things You Should Know for Monday, August 1

August is here. Wait, what?

1. August will start out as August should Monday—hot. Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will reach a high around 92 degrees during the day with a heat index nearing 100, according to the National Weather Service. Monday night, skies will be partly cloudy with a low around 74 degrees. 

2. The District 86 School Board meets Monday night at Hinsdale South. (See the full agenda here.) It may be an interesting meeting if have any lingering effects. Check back with Patch for more coverage. 

3. The Clarendon Hills Village Board also meets Monday night at Village Hall. Patch will be there, as well. Check back.
