Five Things You Should Know for Monday, Aug. 15

Get your week started right with a few useful bits of information from Patch.

1. Skies will be sunny during the day Monday, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will reach 81 degrees. Monday night, skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will drop to the mid 60s.

2. The District 86 School Board meets Monday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Black and Gold Room of . See the meeting's agenda here and check back with Patch for meeting coverage.

3. Also meeting Monday is the Clarendon Hills Village Board. The board will meet at 7 p.m. at Village Hall. In Hinsdale, the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting scheduled for Monday night has been cancelled.
