District 181 Invites Residents to Nov. 12 and 13 Discussion on Vision for 2020

The Community Consolidated School District 181 Board invites all interested community members to an-person discussion of the District Vision for 2020 during one of two Fall Community Engagement meetings, taking place November 12 at Hinsdale Middle School (6:30 - 8:30 p.m.) and November 13 at Clarendon Hills Middle School (6:30 - 8:30 p.m.). No pre-registration is required.

At a District 181 Board of Education Visioning Workshop held October 7, community representatives considered what the District should look like in the year 2020 with a focus on three components - students and learning, facilities and finance, and community involvement. Using that input to develop the survey items, respondents are asked to help prioritize the ideas that were generated.

Superintendent Dr. Renée Schuster notes that the community’s feedback will help the Board and administration develop a strategic plan keying in on five to seven years from now.
