Community Consolidated School District 181 is inviting parents, residents and staff to complete an online survey, open now through November 26. The surveys for each group of constituents are accessible on the District website: www.d181.org > Board of Education > Survey.
Survey questions address several areas, including communication, transparency, and the District’s social emotional learning education. An additional survey area is the District Vision for 2020. At a Board of Education Visioning Workshop held October 7, community representatives considered what the District should look like in the year 2020 with a focus on three components - students and learning, facilities and finance, and community involvement. Using that input to develop the survey items, respondents are asked to help prioritize the ideas that were generated. Superintendent Dr. Renée Schuster notes that the community’s feedback will help the Board and administration develop a strategic plan keying in on five to seven years from now.
