Community Consolidated School District 181 is inviting all District residents to complete an online survey and attend one of two Fall 2012 Community Engagement sessions.

Survey links for both parents and residents who are not current District parents are accessible from the District 181 website homepage at www.d181.org. The survey questions cover four focus areas: communications, finances, technology and advanced learning. The survey closes October 17.

In connection with the survey, residents are invited to attend one of two Community Engagement programs: Monday, October 15 at Clarendon Hills Middle School from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. or Tuesday, October 16 at Hinsdale Middle School from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. District 181 Superintendent Dr. Renée Schuster notes, “For the 2012-2013 school year, the Board and District are collaborating on several strategic goals, one of which includes an increased focus on community engagement. We look forward to listening to our stakeholders and gathering input specifically on advanced learning and on the District’s Values and Commitments.”

The Board of Education will discuss the results of the survey and input from the Community Engagement sessions at a Committee of the Whole meeting on October 29 at Monroe School at 7:00 p.m.
