D181 to Host Board Candidate Workshop

Candidates for the April 2013 Board of Education election in Community Consolidated School District 181 have been invited to attend a Board Candidate Workshop on Monday, February 4. Superintendent Dr. Renee Schuster notes that the purpose of the workshop is to give the candidates an opportunity to learn more about the District and ask any questions they may have. The event is open to the public. It begins at 6:00 p.m. and will take place in Monroe School.

Three seats on the seven-member board will be filled at the April 9, 2013 election. The candidates include Richard Fitzgerald, Gary Clarin, Mridu Garg Jill Vorobiev, and incumbent Sarah Lewensohn. Those who are elected will serve four-year terms expiring in April 2017.
