How Married Couples Can Fashion a Successful Real Estate Partnership

One distinctive aspect of real estate sales is the relative abundance within that field of successful agent teams consisting of married couples; my husband, Chuck, and I feel fortunate to count ourselves among that group.

Because selling real estate is often a 24/7 vocation, having our spouse involved can be a real plus. A spouse who is also your business partner will better understand the demands of your business than one who, for example, works as a banker, teacher or firefighter. He or she also will be able to offer a unique level of round- the clock support, so that when a panicked client calls at 9 p.m. and you are reading a bedtime story to your daughter, your spouse may be able to handle the client’s concerns.
