Kristi Gilbert's Poppy Event Design Up for 'Mom-Run Business' Award
The business Gilbert started in 2012 is one of nearly 30 in the Chicago area considered Red Tricycle's "Most Awesome Mom-Run Businesses."
The event-design company of Clarendon Hills resident and former Patch columnist Kristi Gilbert is up for a 2013 Totally Awesome Award from Red Tricycle.
Poppy Event Design, which Gilbert started in 2012, is one of nearly 30 Chicago-area businesses being considered in the "Most Awesome Mom-Run Businesses" category.
Anyone who provides Red Tricycle with an email address can vote. Voting ends in mid-August.
"Red Tricycle’s Totally Awesome Awards lets parents nominate and vote for the best family-friendly products, parenting tips and resources in their community," Red Tricycle's website reads. "The Totally Awesome Awards is the most fun Kid/Baby Awards program that makes Moms (and Dads) the judges!"
