On Sunday, March 11, 2012 the Hinsdale Wedding Resource will host its 8th annual exclusive Hinsdale Wedding Walk in downtown Hinsdale from 1-4 p.m. Celebrate your engagement with an afternoon filled with food, prizes and entertainment. The Walk will begin at Char-Crews, Inc., a bridal registry and fine china shop located at 8 Grant Square.

The Grand Prize for this year’s walk is a 6 night, Deluxe Mexican Honeymoon for 2 to Riviera Maya (round trip air fare included). Courtesy of Funjet Vacations, Valentin Imperial Maya Resort, Sandos Hotels, and Viking Travel. Any bride that visits all of the participating businesses during the Walk will qualify for the GRAND PRIZE.

At the Hinsdale Wedding Walk, you and your guests can meet with some of the Chicago Area’s most trust-worthy wedding professionals. Wedding cakes, caterers, bridal accessories, bridal gowns, bridesmaid fashions, jewelry photographers, DJ’s, videographers, honeymoon and travel planners, tuxedo’s, bridal gift registries, favors, invitations and the list goes on.
Attending a large bridal show can be fun, but overwhelming. The Hinsdale Wedding Walk is designed for Upscale Brides to visit with quality wedding professionals in a relaxed atmosphere - taking stress out of your planning. You will have the opportunity to meet with wedding experts and get all your planning questions answered.
Brides and their guests will stroll through downtown Hinsdale or ride our quaint Trolley while they sample wedding cake and tasty food, see live hair and makeup demos, get money-saving wedding specials! Brides will visit unique wedding-related businesses that include: Ashley’s Custom Stationery & More, Bellissima Photography, Belleza SkinCare,, Caffray Jewellers, Char Crews, Inc., Classic Party Rentals, Francia Bridal Boutique, Jane’s Blue Iris, The Katherine Legge Memorial Park and Lodge, La Cuisine Catering Co., Morgan Perris Salon, Music By Design, Phillips Flowers, Razny Jewelers, Sass-N-Class, The Trolley Car Co., Toni Patisserie & Café, Tying the Knot and Viking Travel.
All brides will receive a map to guide you from business to business. Brides will visit each host business on the map to get great wedding ideas. Each host business will stamp the map. At the end of the walk, turn in your completed map to the final host business and be entered into the drawing for the Grand Prize Honeymoon. The winner will be notified via telephone call by Monday, March 12, 2012.
The first 100 brides that attend will receive chic swag bags filled with gifts and goodies. All brides registered prior to 2 p.m. will have the opportunity to register to win fabulous raffle prizes! Including generous gift certificates from our vendors, a Waterford Cyrstal collector piece from the bridal registry at Char Crews, a fine piece of jewelry from Razny Jewelers, a Grooms Cake from Toni’s Patisserie, a $200 Gift Certificate for a custom Crane & Co. product from Ashley’s Custom Stationery, a day of beauty at Morgan Perris salon and much, much more!
To qualify for posh prizes, brides must register at Char Crews by 2pm. Brides arriving after 2 PM will not be eligible. Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the walk via text messaging and announcement boards at each location.

Mercy is committed to raising public awareness of youth in need and encourages support to help them.
