One minute, there were 8,000 multi-colored plastic eggs spread across a portion of in Hinsdale. The next minute, they were gone, divided into a countless number of Easter baskets.
A large crowd of kids and their parents, spurred by wonderful weather, attended the annual Hinsdale Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, which was put on by the Parks and Recreation Department, , and the .
The hunt began just after 10:30 a.m. Participants, separated into age groups, gathered as many eggs as they could. Most of the eggs contained candy, but some had special prizes inside.
