Easter brunch is a fun and traditional, whether your style is formal or informal, traditional or eclectic. Take your pick from these five spots:

1. , 8 East First, Hinsdale

If you'd rather sleep in on Easter morning, Il Poggiolo is the perfect spot for you. The restaurant will open at 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday (April 24) and will feature a special Easter menu. 2. , 777 North York, Hinsdale

For a fun and casual atmosphere, pop into Egg Harbor on Easter Sunday. It opens at 6:30 a.m. every day, so you can head to the restaurant right when you wake up or just after church. The atmosphere is enhanced by servers providing you with fresh squeezed juice, and those who prefer lunch can choose from sandwiches, soup, fajitas, and more in addition to Egg Harbor's traditional breakfast dishes. One of Clarendon Hills' newest restaurant, Redd Herring is now serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. This Easter is the perfect time to try out their well-rounded menu, featuring items such as bistro steak 'n eggs, chilaquiles, and three kinds of pancakes. Another casual local favorite, Moondance is kid-friendly and casual. Moondance also opens at 6:30am, so rise and shine early to get a great table!

5. , Burr Ridge Village Center

If breakfast isn't your thing, extend your brunch into the afternoon and celebrate Easter with a glass of wine at Cooper's Hawk. The restaurant opens at 11am, and diners can feast on chopped salads, cheeseburgers, and chicken dishes.
