Do you know of local moms raising their children in the Tiger Mother's way and is it the best way? Where can we get information on local flu shot clinics for children? How do we talk to our children about the Tucson shootings? How can we help our children's schools weather their budget cutbacks?

So grab a cup of coffee and settle in as we start the conversation today with a question from .

Kristi is a stay-at-home mother to 17-month-old, Ava.  She moved to Clarendon Hills in October and writes two columns for Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Patch.  Her columns are "New in Town: From City to Suburbs" and "Mom-on-the-Go".

Kristi's Question: "I need help!  My daughter has discovered her desire to bite me. I'm the only one she's bitten thus far, but I don't want her to take this habit any further; I would just die if she were to bite another child at the healthclub daycare.

I've heard tons of advice.  Everything from ignoring it--to biting her back.

Please help!  What works/worked for you?"
