Investigation Planned for $100,000 Cashout, Church Helps Women Get Free Mammograms

The Lyons Township Trustees of Schools, which invest money for Burr Ridge's Pleasantdale School District 107, plans to hire an investigator to find out why its treasurer cashed in $100,000 worth of unused vacation, sick and personal time without telling school trustees.

The Burr Ridge United Church of Christ is helping women to obtain free mammograms, who can't afford to pay for them. The Pastor of the church says pride keeps women from speaking up to ask for help.
