Family Mission & Union Church Work Day

All Union Church Family & Friends are Welcome!

This year we have two opportunities!

1)    Join us for a morning (or an hour or two) of work and fellowship at Union Church.  There will be many projects to help the ministries of Union and an opportunity to do something kind for one of our adopted missions.

This is a great chance for you to make new friends and to deepen your relationships with your church family WHILE providing needed attention to projects around our church and for others.

Look for sign-up sheet in the Gathering Place and/or contact Melanie in the church office for more information.

AND, OR

2)    Collect and donate travel size, unopened toiletries.  We will assemble hygiene kits for the Night Ministry clients.  The Night Ministry is an organization that helps homeless youth and young adults in Chicago.  You can learn more about the Night Ministry online at http://thenightministry.org.

We need the following:  shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, washcloth, comb, small bar soap, deodorant, disposable shaver, shaving cream, body lotion, adult size NEW white cotton tube socks.

We will be collecting items throughout April in the Gathering Place.

Please look for the designated containers.
