Clarendon Hills Teen Advances to Jeopardy Semi-Finals

Hinsdale Central Sophomore Lindsey Thiesfeld will compete for $75,000 in the finals if she can win in the semi-final round of the competition.

A Hinsdale Central student competing in the "Jeopardy!" teen tournament has made it to the semi-finals of the competition.

Sophomore Lindsey Thiesfeld advanced from the quarter finals of the competition, with more than $15,401—one of the four highest monetary scores in the quarterfinal round. She is entering the semi-final round as a wildcard.

Thiesfeld was one of 15 players selected to compete in this year's teen tournament. The tournament took place in December, but is airing Feb. 17 to March 2. Until the tournament airs, she is not allowed to divulge the final outcome of the competition.
