Bitter Cold Returns for Start of Work Week

Be sure to bundle up for the start of the work week.

The bitter cold temperatures are expected to return Monday morning. 

Wind chill readings of 15 to 25 below zero are expected Monday morning for communities in DuPage, Will and Cook counties as well as several other counties throughout northern Illinois, according to a hazardous weather outlook. 

The National Weather Service is also predicting river flooding along portions of the Illinois and Kankakee rivers and there is an increased risk of localized flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
