Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

Jack and JILL went up to Rover Rescue.  They are no longer blue, but they are looking for their families true.  By any chance, could that be you?  Okay, so it is not your normal nursery rhyme, but these are not your ordinary puppies.  JILL is a sweet girl who was left with her brother, Jack, in a high kill shelter in Southern Indiana.  When Rover Rescue found out about this adorable duo, they knew they would have to be on the next ride north!  JILL is now with a wonderful foster family, but desperately wants a home to call her own.  She is a 5 month old German Shepherd Mix with a soft black and brown coat. She currently weighs 30 pounds.  Jill is a happy puppy that loves kids and kids love her.  She would be a great addition to any family who is familiar with puppy antics.  Not only does she love people, but she gets along with dogs of all sizes.  She would love to have a canine playmate at your house, but could easily be the only fur member also.  Like most puppies, Jill loves to play and she enjoys spending time outside.  Once she has “went up the hill a couple of times”, she will relax and cuddle with whoever is available.  She does really well with her crate and is working on her housetraining. With a timely schedule, she should be successful soon. Since she is still young, she will need to have a home where a family member is home most of the day.  Please remember that puppies are not only adorable, but they are also a lot of responsibility.  JILL will need a family that is willing to spend time with her, work with her on her manners and obedience training, and provide for her for the next ten plus years financially.  If you would like to tumble after JILL, but would like further information, please contact Teri at 630-897-7454.
