Help Hinsdale Dancers Achieve Their Dreams in NYC!
Five Hinsdale Dance Academy dancers have qualified to go the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York City. It is a great honor to even qualify to go to this prestigious competition. These dancers need your help! It is a very expensive opportunity for these young, talented dancers.
In order to prepare for this prestigious competition, the dancers begin preparing 6-8 months ahead of time. The cost of preparing for this competition is a huge expense and undertaking for both the dancers and the parents. Coaching, registration fees, costume rentals and purchases, travel expenses, tuition, pointe shoes, studio rentals, and private lessons are just a few of the overwhelming expenses. Now, with the NYC finals approaching, the dancers now have to add airfare, NYC lodging (for 9 days), more registration fees, more costume rentals, more coaching, studio rentals in NYC, more pointe shoes, and, of course, they HAVE to eat! Yes, ballerinas do eat! The cost for this 9-day trip to NYC is approximately $1800.00 per dancer.
Your contributions will help these dancers to reach their goals of dancing in New York, New York. You can feel good knowing that you are supporting talented, young adults in the arts. Every little bit counts! Remember, dance is art and art imitates life.
