Hinsdale Central Boys Soccer Clinches Conference Title
A 6-0 win over York Tuesday secured the Red Devils' second consecutive West Suburban Silver conference title.
The Hinsdale Central boys soccer team clinched the West Suburban Silver conference title this week with a 6-0 win over York at home Tuesday afternoon.
It's the second straight season the Red Devils have put together an undefeated conference season, according to head coach Michael Wiggins.
“Today was a strong effort by all of our guys and I am extremely proud of their accomplishment,” Wiggins said
The good news was posted on Facebook Tuesday night.
"Conference Champs 2013!," a post on the HCHS Boys Soccer 2013 Facebook page reads. "Congats, boys, on a 6-0 win over York to claim the Conference crown!"
Hinsdale Central will get a No. 1 seed in the playoffs, which begin Oct. 22, Wiggins said.
