Freezing Rain to Make for Slippery Roads Saturday
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Cook and DuPage counties from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Freezing rain Saturday afternoon and evening is expected to create difficult driving conditions.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Cook and DuPage counties from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
"Freezing rain, sleet, and some rain will develop this afternoon and continue into early this evening before tapering off to drizzle by mid to late evening," the advisory reads. "Sleet and freezing rain will make roads and walkways slippery."
Use caution while driving. Limited visibilities are expected.
