First Female Village Manager's Hiring on Hinsdale Board's Agenda

A quick look at what's happening in and around Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills today:

• The Village of Hinsdale Board of Trustees will vote Tuesday to approve the contract of new village manager Kathleen Gargano at a 7:30 p.m. meeting at Memorial Hall. Gargano's hiring, pending the vote, was announced by the board of trustees last week. She will be the first woman to serve as Hinsdale village manager.
• After a cloudy and rainy Monday, Tuesday looks like it'll be much more pleasant, weather-wise. The National Weather Service says mostly sunny skies and a high of 74 are expected. Tuesday night, temps will dip to the mid-50s and skies will remain clear.
