DESCRIPTION:Chicago is the undisputed home of improvisational theatre and
  in this beginner&rsquo\;s class students will receive an enthusiastic i
 ntroduction to this unique art form. In this extremely interactive class
 \, children learn the fundamentals of improvisation. A wonderful way to 
 lay thegroundwork for the basics of acting and theatre performance\, thi
 s class encourages team building\, group agreement skills\, and creative
  exploration of self.&nbsp\; We devote considerable time in class to bod
 y connectivity\, self awareness\, and discovery with the art of pantomim
 e. Then move on to improv basics\, which emphasize listening andreacting
 . Communication skills are the cornerstones of this art and theatre as a
  whole. Through improv games and basic scene work\, the students will ga
 in a sense of &ldquo\;group mind&rdquo\; and the confidence and skills t
 o move on in our more traditional acting program. The last class will be
  an opportunity for family participation in a &lsquo\;Whose Line is it A
 nyway?&rsquo\; style performance.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;
