Victorian Holiday Workshop

Cost: $5 per child
Location: Hinsdale History Museum, 15. s. Clay St., Hinsdale, Il
Description: Celebrate the holidays the Victorian Way! Learn about traditional Victorian holiday decoration in the 19thcentury, and make some yourself in this workshop hosted by the Hinsdale Historical Society. Children of all ages will enjoy creating their own Victorian-era inspired ornaments that can be used in their own homes too.
Registration recommended. Supplies and refreshments are included in the cost.

More About Hinsdale Historical Society
Founded in 1975, the Hinsdale Historical Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving the history of Hinsdale. It maintains three historic buildings, including the Hinsdale History Museum, which houses the Society's archive; the R. Harold Zook Home and Studio, designed by a noted Hinsdale architect in 1924; and Immanuel Hall, which is home to the Roger & Ruth Anderson Architecture Center. It was founded by a group of residents in 1975.
