Come enjoy music of the season at the Clarendon Hills Library during the Christmas Walk on Friday, December 7th. The library welcomes the smiling faces and cheerful voices of the Prospect School choir, directed by Ruth Ann Korwell, at 6:30 pm, and women’s vocal ensemble, Cantate!, directed by Patricia Deckert and accompanied by retired Prospect School music teacher Connie Riemer at 7:15.
Visitors are invited to warm up with hot cider and cookies, children may write letters to Santa and mail them in our special North Pole mail box, and all may take advantage of fine amnesty on all Clarendon Hills Library materials (except previously billed items and lost books).
Finally, there will be a sneak preview of the library’s upcoming redecorating project including a look at the layout and design and samples of carpet, fabric and paint. For more information, call 630-323-8188 or log on to www.clarendonhillslibrary.org.

More About Clarendon Hills Public Library
The Clarendon Hills Public library was founded in 1963 by a group of volunteers. Today, volunteers continue to play a large role in its operations. About 35 volunteers currently donate more than 3,900 hours every year to helping with the library's services and programs. Volunteers from all over the community also help maintain the Remembrance Garden outside the library that was made possible by donations and built in 2004.
