DESCRIPTION:The O'Brien School  for the Maasai is seeking contributions o
 f items needed to ship to the school in  Tanzania. The number one item r
 equested is regular oatmeal. They need 800 boxes  to feed the children f
 or the year. Following that you will see various school  supplies etc. &
 nbsp\;Any amount of these items will be greatly appreciated as we only  
 send one container per year.\nOther items  needed:\n\nPink  Erasers \nPe
 ncils (not  sharpened) \nPencil  Sharpeners \nRulers \nIndex  cards \nLo
 ose-leaf  paper (COLLEGE Ruled) \nHandwriting  paper \nConstruction  pap
 er \nSpiral  Notebooks \nExpo or Bic  Dry Erase Markers&nbsp\;&nbsp\; \n
 Sports  Equipment (basketballs\, soccer balls\, others) \nUsed  Laptops 
 \n2 motorbikes  (for volunteers to get to town and not use expensive van
 ) \nHelmets for  motorbikes\, various sizes&nbsp\; \n\nThe school is als
 o  requesting at least 25 copies of each of the following books. The sch
 ool hopes  to have the upper classes start reading books as a part of th
 eir English  curriculum. The following books are recommended for childre
 n with English as a  second language (ESL).&nbsp\;\n\nCharlotte&rsquo\;s

 y November 8.\nThe O'Brien School  for the Maasai was started by Kellie 
 and Heather O'Brien of Hinsdale in 2006 and  now has 320 children enroll
 ed in grades K through 7. Each year a shipping  container leaves Hinsdal
 e with generous donations from the community for the  school. &nbsp\;\nT
