The Darien Woman’s Club Creative Youth Art & Poetry Fair
Sponsored by the Darien Woman's Club Charity Fund, Inc.
Original artwork created by local youth, ages 4 through 12th grade, will be on display. Entries include paintings, drawings, sculptures and photography—in six media categories, plus poetry. An independent panel of judges will evaluate each piece; prizes and awards will be presented at 3:15pm.
Artwork/poetry division winners will also be displayed at the Indian Prairie Public Library in March.

More About Eisenhower Jr. High School
Eisenhower Jr. High serves 551 students grades 6-8. Principal Mike Fitzgerald says that even though academics are the priority, the school tries to help kids grow in every way. That includes character-based elements in the curriculum that encourage good citizenship. The school is also known for its exceptional band and choir programs.
