A Very Victorian Thanksgiving

Hinsdale History Museum, 15 S. Clay St., Hinsdale
Come to the Hinsdale History Museum to learn about Victorian Thanksgiving traditions! Appropriate for ages 5 and up, this children’s program will begin with "An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving," a film based on a short story by Louisa May Alcott. Afterwards, families will enjoy a tour of the Museum to learn more about how Thanksgiving was celebrated in the Victorian era.
Snacks will be provided. Children must be accompanied by adult. Cost is $5 per child which includes the tour.

More About Hinsdale Historical Society
Founded in 1975, the Hinsdale Historical Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving the history of Hinsdale. It maintains three historic buildings, including the Hinsdale History Museum, which houses the Society's archive; the R. Harold Zook Home and Studio, designed by a noted Hinsdale architect in 1924; and Immanuel Hall, which is home to the Roger & Ruth Anderson Architecture Center. It was founded by a group of residents in 1975.
