Everyone is invited to cool off with an ice cream sundae while enjoying the beautiful barbershop harmonies of “The Moonlighters” Barbershop Quartet at the 6th Annual Clarendon Hills Library Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 16th, 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The library is located at 7 North Prospect Avenue. Weather-permitting, the festivities will be held outdoors in the Library’s garden.
Entries for the “Reading is So Delicious!” Adult Summer Reading Club prize drawing will be accepted through noon on Thursday, August 16th. That evening at the event, the name of the winner of a Kindle Fire, drawn from all entries, will be announced. The winner need not be present to win. This event is sponsored by the Clarendon Hills Bank.

More About Clarendon Hills Public Library
The Clarendon Hills Public library was founded in 1963 by a group of volunteers. Today, volunteers continue to play a large role in its operations. About 35 volunteers currently donate more than 3,900 hours every year to helping with the library's services and programs. Volunteers from all over the community also help maintain the Remembrance Garden outside the library that was made possible by donations and built in 2004.
