 roud to present the 47th annual Christmas Walk presented by Ettleson Aut
 o Group\, on Friday\, November 30th from 4 pm &ndash\; 8pm in downtown H
 insdale. That evening\, local shopkeepers will remain open to greet thei
 r customers and guests to celebrate the holiday season. The festivities 
 will also include the Radio Disney Road Crew\, ice carvers\, holiday car
 olers\, a children&rsquo\;s trackless train\, decorated holiday trees\, 
 giveaways\, animated holiday characters\, Santa&rsquo\;s arrival by fire
 truck and the annual tree lighting ceremony in Burlington Park.&nbsp\;&n
 bsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Also this year\, the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce is 
 partnering with Radio Disney to launch their National campaign "A Festiv
 al of Giving" in Hinsdale on the night of the Walk. Radio Disney is embr
 acing their second annual &ldquo\;Festival of Giving&rdquo\; in over 30 
 markets by bringing multiple charities together the first weekend in Dec
 ember to create a convenient way for kids and families to help others th
 is holiday season.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Nationally\, all 31 &ldquo
 \;Festival of Giving&rdquo\; events will have a variety of organizations
  on-site to take donations. In Hinsdale we will be taking donations on N
 ovember 30th for Toys for Tots (unwrapped toys) Family Health Network (c
 oats for children ages 0-16) and the Northern Illinois Food bank (non-pe
 rishable food items). &nbsp\;Radio Disney&rsquo\;s Project Family initia
 tive\, inspiring families to spend time together in an effort to make a 
 lasting\, positive change at home\, in their community and the world at 
 large.In addition the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce will once again prese
 nt &ldquo\;Hinsdale&rsquo\;s Storybook Village &ndash\; A Gingerbread&rs
 quo\;s Tale&rdquo\;. Jumbo storybooks will be on display in local partic
 ipating businesses from November 30th until December 31st.While shopping
  in Hinsdale's specialty shops and boutiques\, you can stroll through th
 is historic downtown and surround yourself with the warmth and tradition
 al spirit of the holidays. Merchants in the village will display Gingerb
 read storybooks in their storefronts\, showcasing &ldquo\;Cookie&rdquo\;
  the Gingerbread Man&rsquo\;s adventures in Hinsdale. The Chamber is for
 tunate enough to partner with local Community Consolidated School Distri
 ct #181. Students from grade levels 6 &ndash\; 8 are using their creativ
 e and artistic talents to create these extra-special poems and illustrat
 ions making these Story Books come to life that will be featured through
