Each year, the Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club (HJWC) partners with HCS Family Services to sponsor an event called the Gift of the Season. This program reaches out to local businesses and individuals to help donate new toys and monetary contributions for one hundred area families in need with children ages ranging from 0 – 15 years old. 

Many of our wonderful community partners have agreed to contribute to Gift of the Season by placing colorful drop boxes at their business location. Community members are asked to kindly donate and place items in these boxes which may include new unwrapped toys, books, games, sports equipment, hats, mittens, gift cards and money. 

This year's event will take place on December 1, 2012 at 8:00 AM inside Grace Church, 120 East First Street, Hinsdale.  During this time, the one hundred families designated by HCS Family Services will have the opportunity to shop and choose toys for their child(ren) who otherwise would not be receiving any this holiday season.

Please help to support this heart-warming holiday cause by placing donations in your area drop boxes, volunteering during the day of the event or by placing a drox box on your business premise.
