Do you vehemently refuse to wear that winter coat even one more time? Has this crazy spring weather got you all distressed over getting dressed?
My clever brother tells me spring in the mid-west suffers from bi-polar disorder. One day it's 75 and sunny, the next it's 40 something and rainy. So how in the world are we supposed to know what to wear? That pretty floral print scarf I just bought . . . should I wear it with my winter jacket? That doesn't sound right. Or how about jeans, boots and a turtle-neck sweater in May? That sounds ridiculous, but hey, that's exactly what I had on just a few days ago. As a seasoned wardrobe advisor, this is what I do and this is my best advice. Keep the calendar in mind, but dress for the weather. It's the smart and stylish thing to do. I also recommend some classic closet items that come in very handy this time of year: Layer, layer, and then …

The performance—with a name inspired by “The Book of Mormon”—will be put on at Community House four times starting Friday to benefit the nonprofit organization.
The 2013 Community Revue at Hinsdale’s Community House, tellingly titled “The Book of Hinsdale,” involves 50 community members and is intended as a silly, lighthearted parody of the Village and nearby communities, the Chicago Tribune reports. According the The Doings Clarendon Hills, the show—which plays March 8-9 and 15-16, and benefits the nonprofit—is keeping most of its gags secret until opening night, and is continually adding and tinkering with lines and jokes to relate to headline events. Though the show’s title appears to be based on a certain foul-mouthed Tony Award-winner (a musical cue in the above promo also suggests so), performer Terry Goudie told the Tribune said that Community House has “never had to pull back anything …
