Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

What Type of Business Should Go in the Former Gap Kids Space in Downtown Hinsdale?

In our weekly Visions for Vacancies series, Patch asks readers how they would fill empty storefronts around town.

When Gap Kids closed its downtown location earlier this year, it opened up a 2,700-square-foot space at 44 S. Washington St.

Village of Hinsdale community development director Tim Scott said the space is narrow and deep, and is in a good spot in downtown.

"Its location, mid-block on Washington, makes it a very attractive location for retailers," Scott said.

Last week, we asked what should go into the former Gap space at the corner of Washington and 1st streets. This week, we want to know what would be best at in the Gap Kids storefront.

Whether it's a new restaurant, clothing store or something completely new, we want to hear what businesses you'd most like to see take over at 44 S. Washington St. in Hinsdale.
