Week in Review: Teacher from Unincorporated Hinsdale Charged with Sexual Abuse

1. Teacher from Unincorporated Hinsdale Charged with Sexually Abusing Student: Steven E. Reynolds, a substitute teacher and basketball coach at Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, was arrested by the DuPage County Sheriff's Office after friends of the victim told authorities about an incident at Reynolds' home.
2. Hinsdale Trustees Reject Graue Mill Anti-Flood Funding Request: The Graue Mill Home Owners Association asked for $60,000 in village funds to help secure a FEMA grant that would cover 75 percent of a nearly $2 million improvement project.
3. D86 Board Members Suggest Transgender Policy, State of the District Address: Kay Gallo, DeeDee Gorgol and Jennifer Planson attended a school law seminar put on by the district's law firm and shared their takeaways with fellow board members Monday.
