Temps Expected to Hit High 90s: Monday's Morning Report

A District 86 board meeting and a new laptop-lending initiative at the Hinsdale Public Library are also among the things you should know for July 16.

 

1. Skies will be sunny and the high temperature will reach 96 degrees Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will blow between 5 and 15 mph. Monday night, mostly clear skies and a low of 74 are expected.

2. The District 86 Board of Education meets Monday night at Hinsdale South High School in Darien. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and its full agenda can be found here on the district's website.

    3. Beginning Monday, the Hinsdale Public Library is lending four Mac laptops in-house to library cardholders that are high-school age and older. Two more will be available in August. "The library continues to seek creative ways to provide technology opportunities to children and adults," the event's Patch listing reads. See that listing for more info.

    4. The Clarendon Hills Village Board meeting scheduled for Monday night at 7 p.m. has been canceled. The next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 6.
