A car was flipped over on Wilmette Avenue just south of 55th Street in Westmont Friday morning after a two-car T-bone accident, according to Westmont Police. 

One woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Sergeant Greg Compton said, who didn't release any other information. 

"I don’t think there will be many more details," he said. "It’s not that serious of an incident."

Wilmette is just west of Richmond Avenue and the Clarendon Hills-Westmont border. Eastbound traffic was halted at Cass Avenue as crews cleaned up the accident, which was located in the middle of the 55th Street construction.
