Sometime between 2 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 1 p.m. on Oct. 23, someone burglarized a home on the 5500 Block of South Park Avenue.

The owner had been away for a few days. When she came home, she found her screen door broken. Inside the home, she noticed that someone had stripped her walls of photos and sports memorabilia.

"The home was not unoccupied [while the owner was away]," said Hinsdale Deputy Police Chief Mark Wodka. "During that time, one of their family members had access to the home...It's not clear whether it was an unknown suspect which entered."
