Pricey Nativity Figures Damaged Outside Hinsdale Home: Police Blotter

Hinsdale police reports, Dec. 19-25

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 22

$1,400 in Damage Done to Nativity Set

A resident from the 800 block of Thurlow Street reported at 8 a.m. that a nativity set outside the home had sustained about $1,400 in damage, police said. Three resin-cast figurines were damaged, as was the manger. There is no suspect at this time and the case is under investigation.

FRIDAY, DEC. 21

Social Security Number Used Fraudulently

A patient at Hinsdale ManorCare told police at 1:49 p.m. that someone used their Social Security number on a job application in the Chicago area. Police said the victim’s personal information had not been used to open any accounts or take out any loans at the time of the report. The case is under investigation.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 19

Clothes Stolen from ManorCare Patient

Someone took $126.41 worth of clothing from a female patient at Hinsdale ManorCare during a stay spanning Dec. 8 to 19, police said. The clothing was a gift from a family member, police said. The case is currently under investigation.
