Three Mailboxes, Window Damaged
Three mailboxes were damaged and a rock thrown through a front window of a home, all on the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane, police learned at about 12:33 a.m. The mailboxes were worth $50 each, and damage to the window was estimated at about $50.
SUNDAY, JUNE 24
Driver Believed Under the Influence of Drugs
Julie K. Polich, 40, 246 Washington, La Grange was ticketed for improper lane usage and driving under the influence of drugs after Hinsdale police pulled over her vehicle on the 300 block of east Ogden Avenue at about 9:03 a.m.
Driver Ticketed for Driving without a License
Thomas G. Manley, 53, 118 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale was ticketed for failure to wear a seat belt and no valid driver’s license after he was stopped by Hinsdale police at Garfield and Hinsdale Avenue at about 6:49 p.m. Police stopped him, they said, because he was not wearing a seat belt.
SATURDAY, JUNE 23
Rider Stiffed Cabbie, Police Say
Vidal Moran, 23, 200 S. Monroe, Hinsdale was charged with theft of labor services after Hinsdale police said he refused to pay cab fare from Chicago to his Hinsdale home at about 4:36 a.m. Police did not list the amount of cab fare.
FRIDAY, JUNE 22
Party-goers' Loud Behavior Leads to Charges
Hinsdale police arrested seven 18- or 19-year-olds who were in the street after responding to a call at about 12:34 a.m. of a loud party on the 800 block of south Park Avenue.
Charged under a local ordinance complaint with unlawful possession of alcohol by someone under age 21 were Hinsdale residents Matthew M. Christian, 19, 735 S. Bruner; Michael A. Carmazzi, 19, 704 S. Thurlow; John W. Lisy, 18, 919 S. County Line Rd.; Kelsey A. Concklin, 18, 800 Harding Rd.; Tyler A. Beth, 18, 427 S. Lincoln St.; and Patrick J. Bartecki, 18, of 621 E. Sixth.
Police said they found a pipe used to smoke marijuana in a purse, and charged Samantha M. Price, 19, 6250 Clarendon Hills Rd., Willowbrook with possession of drug equipment and possession of alcohol by someone under the age of 21, under a local ordinance complaint.
All seven appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Cash, GPS Device Missing from Van
A global positioning system device and $50 were stolen out of a work van parked on the 1400 block of Burr Oak Road between 9:42 and 11:42 a.m. The GPS device was worth $200. There was no forced entry. It was unknown whether the van had been locked, Hinsdale police said.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20
Unlocked Bicycle Stolen at Bike Rack
An bicycle left unlocked at the bike rack of the Hinsdale Pool, 500 W Hinsdale Ave., was stolen between 3 and 5 p.m. The bicycle was worth $299.
TUESDAY, JUNE 19
Car Window Shattered; Items Taken
Someone shattered the window of a car parked in a parking lot at Hillgrove Avenue and County Line Road, between 7 and 7:56 p.m. Taken from the car were sunglasses and a purse containing a wallet and various credit and gift cards. The loss was valued at about $5,050.
